Creating opportunities for transformational experiences for individuals, groups and communities.
Entabeni was established in 1993 as an environmental education centre in the Giant's Castle area of the Drakensberg Mountains, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Since those humble beginnings we have become a leading provider of adventurous journeys, hikes & treks, life-skills & leadership programmes, local & international expeditions. Our programmes focus on personal and group development through meaningful experiences in natural and wild spaces.
Entabeni is managed by Chrysalis Project South Africa; a registered not-for-profit (NPO number 117-851).
Many leading shools undertake a 10 to 21 day journey for an entire grade. The opportunities for life-changing learning are huge.
Entabeni Adventures & Expeditions is the only South African organisation to be compliant against British Standard 8848 for international fieldwork & expeditions (BS8848), the leading safety standard of its kind. We are also compliant against ISO21101, ISO21102 and ISO21103. This means we take safety very seriously! Click here for details on our approach to safety management.
